City of Dreams Sri Lanka is set to welcome the Lunar New Year with a bold and immersive celebration from 17 February to 3 March, marking a season of prosperity, fortune, and new beginnings.

Inspired by the traditions of Chun Jie (Spring Festival), the resort will transform into a vibrant setting designed to reflect auspicious energy and cultural symbolism. Guests can expect a festive atmosphere where every detail is curated to embody abundance, happiness, and renewal.

Centre Stage will host high-energy cultural performances, including traditional lion dances symbolising prosperity and the warding off of negative energy, as well as elegant fan dances representing renewal and joy. The revered Gods of Fortune will make special appearances, offering blessings of wealth and success, while festive hostesses enhance the celebratory spirit with interactive engagements and hospitality.

Spice8 will feature a specially curated Chinese New Year buffet, offering dishes inspired by themes of longevity, prosperity, and togetherness. The menu showcases traditional flavours associated with abundance and good fortune.

Level 6 and Spice8 will be adorned with striking décor in rich reds and gold accents, complemented by traditional motifs that reflect the spirit of the season. The immersive design aims to create a luxurious yet culturally authentic festive experience.

Blending entertainment with meaningful traditions, the celebration invites guests to embrace renewal and prosperity while welcoming the Lunar New Year in grand style at City of Dreams Sri Lanka.
