Hayleys Agriculture Holdings Ltd. reinforced its commitment to transforming Sri Lanka’s agriculture sector at the Jaffna International Trade Fair 2026, held from 23 to 25 January at the Muttraweli Grounds in Jaffna. The company showcased modern agricultural technology and value-added products, with a strong focus on supporting farming communities in the Northern Province and strengthening its leadership in agri-technology and practical innovation.

Attracting farmers, agribusiness stakeholders, dealers, policymakers, media and families, the Hayleys Agriculture stall was designed as an immersive, interactive experience rather than a traditional exhibition. It demonstrated how technology-enabled, digitised and mechanised solutions are reshaping farming practices, improving productivity and operational efficiency, while making modern agriculture more accessible to the next generation of farmers.

The showcase highlighted Hayleys Agriculture’s role in driving sectoral evolution through advanced solutions and strong partnerships with globally recognised brands, including Japan’s Kubota, underscoring its commitment to introducing cutting-edge innovations to the local market.

Adding a vibrant experiential element, HJS Condiments hosted a live food station featuring innovative agricultural value addition. Visitors experienced creative culinary applications using local, agriculture-based ingredients such as Govi Aruna Moringa and Blue Butterfly Pea string hoppers, dosa and roti prepared with Govi Aruna Virgin Coconut Oil, and Island Magic Peanut Butter, demonstrating the link between primary agriculture, nutrition and downstream value creation.

Visitor engagement was further enhanced through an interactive digital game conducted throughout the three-day event, with daily winners receiving movie ticket vouchers redeemable at leading cinemas in Jaffna. Quality Seeds Company Ltd. also showcased and sold a range of flowering and non-flowering plants, creating an additional retail touchpoint.

Commenting on the event, Managing Director Jayanthi Dharmasena said Hayleys Agriculture remains committed to empowering farmers through innovation, digitisation and value-added solutions, supporting a future-ready, sustainable and opportunity-rich agriculture sector in Sri Lanka.
